Pro-D DAy Camps at Weird Church
Pro-D Day Camps at Weird Church are available for children in Kindergarten through Grade 5, with additional Leader-in-Training (LiT) opportunities for junior youth in grades 6-8 and Youth Crew for youth in grades 9-12.
Day campers will have a range of activities to engage in to ensure your child’s interests and your family’s childcare needs are met. Following Weird Church’s philosophy of full inclusion and celebration of diversity, there are no barriers to participation in camp and we celebrate all family systems and expressions of gender identity. Our highly trained and engaged leaders provide opportunities for children and youth to form friendships, engage in active play, gain new skills in a fun and safe environment along with mentorship and role modelling for children and youth. You do not need to belong to Weird Church or any other church or follow any kind of belief systems to participate in this community day camp program.
Camp runs 9am - 3pm on SD 71 Pro-D Days. The cost for those K-Gr.5 is offered at a sliding scale ($0-40). LiT and Youth Crew are volunteer positions (no cost to families). Our program does not include lunch or snacks, so please pack a lunch kit and water bottle for the day. Please have a change of clothes and weather appropriate attire/footwear.
