Join us for an evening of reflection, insight, and advocacy as Linda Taffs, a long-time Palestinian human rights activist from Parksville, shares her experiences from a recent ecumenical witness pilgrimage to the West Bank in Occupied Palestine.
This thought-provoking event is co-sponsored Weird Church, Mid-Islanders for Justice & Peace in the Middle East and Comox Valley for Palestine. Linda will discuss her journey, which was motivated by frustration over Canada’s ongoing arms sales to Israel and the lack of governmental action against the ongoing genocide. Her firsthand experiences offer a unique perspective on the urgent need for Canadians to pressure the government to end weapons permits and demand a ceasefire.

Her recent pilgrimage to Israel and Palestine deepened her resolve to promote compassionate action and justice for all.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn how we can collectively work towards a just resolution to this conflict.
