Through workshops, book studies, discussion groups, community and individual art projects, and story theatre, the whole community is invited to participate as we discuss the realities of climate change and move together from despair and grief to hope and action.

Registration for any/all of these events can be found on our registration page.

Climate resilience in the garden

March 16 @ 7pm on Zoom

Imagine your garden as an integral part of an interconnected patchwork of gardens throughout our community, providing oases of biodiversity, sanctuaries for pollinators and refuge for birds and wildlife.  The earth is calling for us to pay attention.  Imagine creating rich healthy soil that will grow nourishing food, trees and medicinal plants without the use of damaging chemical fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides.  Your garden is a thread in the larger tapestry of gardens throughout our community, each garden a reflection of our creativity, hope, and connection with the earth.

Join expert herbalist and teacher Amanda Howe 7:00 to 8:30pm in an interactive Zoom session (cameras on please!) for ideas about how to turn our gardens into beacons of hope and climate resilience sowing the seeds of physical and emotional health, optimism, joy and connection with the Spirit of this beautiful place we call home.

Conversation Circles

every other thursday feb 10 - april 7

Are you hungry for deeper dialogue about the climate crisis and building community around solutions? We are too. That’s why we are hosting a Conversation Circle — a chance to dig into where we are, what is at stake, how our fears and dread interfere with taking action, and mow we can move, together, from despair and worry to hope and resilience.

Every other Thursday 7 - 8:30pm from February 10 - April 7, 2022. Registration required, in-person and online options are available.

Proof of vaccination and masks required for in-person attendance.
